How to Play
Welcome to Anything Grid!
The Goal
Fill all 9 cells of the grid. Each cell must contain an answer that matches both its row and column categories.
How It Works
Click a cell, then search for anything that fits both categories. For example, for Historical × Change, you could answer French Revolution (a societal change), Halfpenny (old currency change), or Bathing Machine (a historical place to get changed)!
Scoring
The more obscure your answer, the lower your score — and lower is better! Find those deep cuts.
Every answer is scored on how well-known it is in the world. That means two answers can both be correct for the same cell and score completely differently: in the example above, French Revolution, Halfpenny and Bathing Machine all fit Historical × Change, but the obvious one scores in the hundreds while the niche ones score in single digits. Finding an answer nobody else thinks of is the whole game.
